There will be a HOT Oval meeting @ Muldersvlei Wine Estate this coming Wednesday night @ 19h00. As most of you know, EVERYBODY is welcome, and we have a good time. Generally speaking, we have a short meeting about pressing issues, and then we stand around the braai chatting (dop & tjop). BIG NEWS: There will be an inter-club challenge, which promises to be a HUGE attraction for the month of April. It is the Tygerberg Raceway vs HOT Oval Challenge. The best of HOT Oval will be taking on the best of Tygerberg Raceway on their home turf!!! This is happening on Saturday 16 April 2011 @ Tygerberg Raceway. So, here's the thing..... I need ALL HOT Oval members from ALL OVER the country to enter for this race!! We need to give back to the spectators of Cape Town, and this is the perfect way to do it! It is one of the last events of the season, so let's make it huge. I'm sure that we can cheat a little, and add guys from other clubs into the HOT Oval or Tygerberg Raceway stable for the night (split them evenly between the two clubs) or something like that to accomodate those serious racers who (for some strange reason) don't belong to us. Here it is guys....the race to end off the Western Cape season with on a high note!! Let's give the spectators something to come back for neXt season.

What Is Hot Oval
Hot Oval is a drivers association based on fair play good values and fun. We represent drivers and social members. This means you do now have to be a driver to belong to Hot Oval you can join and be a social member. Hot Oval does not have a full on track which means all members can race at MSA tracks and events. This gives Hot Oval a big advantage.
Hot Oval feels dirt oval track racing needs to be promoted and in this sense does everything to promote oval track racing. We keep the comments and suggestions of drivers and spectators in mind and use this when making decisions.
As the new season is at our door step we will keep you up to date with the racing calendar, when and where we will be. If you would like to join Hot Oval and experience the unbelievable feeling of being part of a huge success and racing family please feel free to contact Nicky.
We offer all sorts of sponsorship arrangements; if you or your company wishes to sponsor Hot Oval and get your company name seen by thousands of spectators please contact Wade or Christo.

I have had so many calls and e-mails for HOT Oval membership forms that I have decided to place a link Application for membership.doc for you to get the membership form without having to wait for a faX.
The easiest way to get MSA membership is to use the link at the top of the MSA website to complete your application for MSA membership. You will need proof of membership, so just contact Wade if you are a HOT Oval member who needs to upload proof of membership, and Wade will supply it to you.
